FAQ
This page contains answers to frequently asked questions about Mappedin Leasing.
Can leasing status or terms be changed?
Yes, all leasing terminology in the app can be changed under Customize Status Names.
Can a virtual tour be connected to a leasing map?
Yes. To link a tour, paste either a URL or an iframe embed code into the 3D Tour URL field for the relevant unit. Once added, the tour is accessible directly from the Location Profile of a unit.
How is data imported into the app?
The leasing app supports bulk data entry via Comma-Separated Values (CSV). Export the pre-formatted template from within the app, fill it in with the leasing data, then re-import the completed file. The leasing map automatically updates to reflect the new data.
How is a closed location removed from the map?
Removing a closed location requires an update to the map data. This change can be made directly in Mappedin's content management system, where map edits such as removing units can be made and published. For assistance, reach out to Mappedin directly.
Does the app offer mobile support?
Yes, the leasing app is fully responsive and works seamlessly across desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
What unit statuses and filters are available?
The leasing app provides unit statuses that can be used to track and filter the state of any space in a portfolio. Each status reflects a distinct stage in the leasing lifecycle, giving the team a clear view of availability across properties:
- Vacant
- Application pending
- Coming soon
- Reserved
- Under offer
- Negotiating
- Lease terminated
- Off market
- Leased
All status labels can be renamed to match the terminology used by an organization.
What analytics does the leasing app capture?
Metrics on vacant, under negotiation, and leased units can be viewed under Leasing Analytics. As statuses update, the app automatically tracks how long each unit took to lease, providing the numbers to back up the team's work.
Key metrics such as total square footage are always at a glance, and with the right data, it is also possible to track quarterly retention, weekly visitors, and revenue per visitor.
